Freaky Thread partnered with us to build a bold new identity rooted in individuality, contradiction and self-expression. Our goal was to create a streetwear brand that felt unapologetically different, uniting apparel, storytelling and social media through one flexible visual system made to evolve with every collection.

 
 

The Challenge:

CREATE A DISTINCT STREETWEAR IDENTITY THAT CAN EVOLVE WITHOUT LOSING ITS EDGE.

Building a World for the Unfiltered

Freaky Thread needed more than a logo or a collection of graphics. The brand required one clear visual and verbal system that could connect its apparel, campaigns and social presence while still leaving room for experimentation.

The challenge was to create something bold without becoming chaotic, expressive without feeling inconsistent, and recognisable enough to grow across future collections. Every element had to feel different by design, yet unmistakably Freaky Thread.

THE CORE IDEA

Every freak has multiple stories latched onto them. The identity was built around the idea that people are never just one thing. They carry different emotions, experiences, personalities and versions of themselves. Freaky Thread turns those contradictions into something wearable. Instead of creating a rigid identity, we developed a flexible visual language that could constantly evolve while remaining recognisably Freaky Thread.

THE VISUAL LANGUAGE

The visual system combines expressive typography, unconventional compositions, distorted imagery and campaign-led storytelling.
